Well, coffees are consumed by almost all of us. Some of us love to drink a cup of coffee at a cafe. To make the coffee more attractive some cafes do “latte art”. I know latte art is a new concept for some of us. Today I am going to discuss all Latte art in this article.
First of all one question would come into our mind that what is latte art. Latte art is a method of preparing coffee created by pouring microfoam into a shot of espresso and resulting in a pattern or design on the surface of the latte. It can also be created or embellished by simply “drawing” in the top layer of foam.
So why latte art is so popular these days? First of all, it is a good marketing strategy for the cafes because it makes the cup of coffee more attractive for the customers. Some people like the creamy layer on the coffee. The texture looks really perfect which makes it a better choice.
How latte arts are made? Actually, latte arts can be made in two ways. Either by machines or by hands. If you do it with machines it would be more perfect and you can create more different arts. If you do it by hand then you can create limited designs.
So can we do latte art at home? Well, the answer is yes. It can be done at home. One thing that you need to add more is steamed milk.
Latte art is easiest in a rounded bowl-shaped cup. Pour your espresso into the bottom of the cup and then add a small amount of your steamed milk and swirl to incorporate it. The main aspects of the pouring technique are speed and height above the bowl. Pour slowly and evenly at a fairly high distance. This allows the milk and espresso to continue incorporating. You can pour in a circular motion to ensure it mixes well.
You can make your desired shape. If you’re starting a coffee business then adding latte art to your coffee would increase your profits because that’s what the customers like. Latte art would increase your sales.
